Ok, you have to go to this place
and you will see why their many volunteers keep showing up day after
day. Their love for Eden Mill is inspiring and infectious!
Here’s
the plan: pack a picnic and kids to spend a day - begin by a guided
canoe trip planned around one of their Tiny Wonders programs which will
tout the many virtues of creatures such as turtles, frogs, or snakes
indigenous to the region. Or there’s the Critter Chow Down (which is
not for the squeamish BTW!) But kids love that stuff.
Since you are in
the area, drive up to North of Rocks State Park and hike to Kilgore Falls
before you head for home. Yes, its completely out of the way… that’s
the idea!!
