Ok, so I got a little carried away with the leg warmers and the cut out sweatshirt… but how often do we get to live out a childhood fantasy! As a young girl, I wanted to be Jennifer Beals in Flashdance, almost as much as Olivia Newton-John in Grease when she slithered out in that black outfit. So needless to say, I’m enjoying my moment in the spotlight and having a ball learning to dance the quick step with the greatest partner ever, Tom Rzepnicki in support of the Dancing for the Arts event. You could say I caught the bug and I’m hoping that this bug will be contagious… (unlike some others hanging around). Come out to watch the event on November 21st and support your favorite dancer. Or if you can’t make it, vote on line or better yet- do both! And after you catch the bug… drag your significant other to some dance classes… fall in love with dancing and each other all over again!
