Event Information:
Got a Digital SLR camera but don't really know how to get good wildlife and nature photos? Learn the basic functions of your camera and take photos like a pro. Learn how to use the various modes on your camera such as portrait, landscape, and macro. Learn about interchangeable lenses, and using a tripod vs a monopod. Learn how to get closer to wildlife. Learn the skills and techniques of Wildlife and Nature Observation. Where are they? When do they come out? When do they feed, have their young, migrate? Be prepared to be outdoors. Some live animals will be available to photograph. Bring your camera, camera manual, notebook, lunch, and a sense of curiosity.  Must preregister.
