My Trips!
Wini Recommends
What is a quality visitor experience is also an excellent way for the downtown merchants to sustain themselves. Along with a good scare, tour patrons will receive a history of the town, restaurant and store coupons. The tours are a quality visitor experience, led by informed and entertaining guides. The Guides wear costumes reminiscent of a famous HdG character and carry lanterns to lead the way into the night. A big thanks to Diana, Main St Manager, Lisa Ryan, Tour Coordinator and Dr. Unruh and Dan Miller, both guides who I had the pleasure to work with. Keep up the great work you are doing for HdG! Be sure you wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as the tours are outside. I recommend going in Jana’s Java (the tour meeting spot) and buying a coffee, tea or Italian soda before you leave for the tour. And mainly that is because Jana doesn’t mind if you take up space in her shop while waiting for the tour to leave without buying something- that makes her pretty cool in my book-So please BUY SOMETHING! Also, my Got Ghosts? tee that I wore in the video glows in the dark! Be sure to purchase your tee shirt from Gabby at Stickdesigns Embroidery- address and contact info below. Proceeds from the shirt sales goes to the non-profit Main Street Organization. Thanks again Main Street, Inc for highlighting HdG’s haunted side.
Bring cash to tip your guide with!
