Join our head beekeeper, Cybil Preston, as she demonstrates hive maintenance and answers questions you may have concerning honeybees, crop management, pests and disease, as well as the importance of honeybees. There is no registration or fee for this demonstration. Meet on the paved pathway next to the Honeybee hives by the red barn!

All are welcome who enjoy children’s literature. Join us for a children’s story and craft related to a theme about nature. Pre-registration is required.

Children will discover some interesting facts about an animal that makes its home at Eden Mill. Next, they will then listen to a short age-appropriate story about that animal. Finally, they will make a craft related to that animal.

Join us in the nature center as we feed our critters. Take a turn feeding one of the turtles or frogs their meal!

This is a guided hike with the naturalist at night, hopefully with the full moon.

A theme is chosen each session (month) and participants will learn through written assignments, video clips, hands on activities, hikes, and outdoor exploration and investigation. Three Mondays each month are selected for the session. April- Lets learn how Native Americans utilized plants, bones, and other items to make tools, medicines, and more! May- Let's explore the wetlands, creek, beaver canal, and other water sources to discover what critters and plants are found there. We will also canoe to get a better look of the wildlife and plants along the creek!
