War of 1812 Speaker and Guided Tour
Harford Community College-Hays-Heighe House
Come to the Hays-Heighe House to see Dr. William Beanes (aka Ranger Paul Plamann from Fort McHenry) recount his experience on board ship in Baltimore harbor as Fort McHenry was attacked. Guided tours of the 1812 exhibit will take place during the open hours until 3 p.m.

Elephant's Graveyard
Harford Community College (The Blackbox, Joppa Hall 032, entrance 5)
Elephant's Graveyard (by George Brandt) is the true tale of the tragic collision of a struggling circus and a tiny town in Tennessee that resulted in the only known lynching of an elephant. Set in September 1916, the play combines historical fact and legend, exploring the deep-seated craving for spectable, violence and revenge. Presented through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

Harford County AAUW's Food Fight 6:30pm (with a rain date of Monday, May 14th, 2012) Do you love eating out? Want to see what goes on behind the scenes in the kitchen? Want to meet the chefs of some of your favorite restaurants? Come to AAUW’s Food Fight. This year's competitors are from: Pairing’s Bistro - Chef Erica Bruce Bitner’s - Chef Tim Manor Tavern - Chef Travis Laurrapin Grille - Chef Kristina The schedule for the event is as follows: • 6:30 – Event begins • 6:50 – Presentation of appetizers • 7:35 – Presentation of entrees • 7:45 – Awards Tickets may be obtained by emailing aauw.foodfight@gmail.com Judge tickets go fast, so get yours early! Prices are as follow: • VIP judges - taste and uate all the prepared food - $35; or bring a friend and the two of you together will cost $60 • Spectators - enjoy the sights and smell from the sidelines - Adults: $7; Students: $5; Families of 4+: $20 Why: to raise money for American Association of University Women's scholarship fund. AAUW is a non-profit organization and all proceeds go to deserving young scholars.
