Situated "Where Bay Life Begins" the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum features exhimbits and programs interpreting the rich cultural heritage of the Native Americans, European Settlers, and watermen unique to our region. Visit our boat building school and special exhibit on the travels of John Smith as he explored the Chesapeake Bay.

6th Annual Secret Garden Tour of Havre de Grace

Starts at HdG Maritime Museum

This tour features private gardens in Havre de Grace. Proceeds benefit the educational programs of the Havre de Grace Maritime Museum. Local vendors, crafters, artists, exhibitors and sponsors will also be at the pavilion of the Museum from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. (great door prizes too). New this year, a Container Garden Competition will be on the grounds during the show hours. The Container Gardens will be judged in the following four categories: Unique/Whimsical, Herbal/Edible, Theme and Succulent/Cacti. For more information or an entry form for the contest contact C.
